Please read these terms carefully before using Star Words AI. By accessing or using our service, you agree to be bound by these terms.

The main things to know: you own the videos you create, you cannot use our service for illegal content, you must not generate images/videos of real people without their consent, and we reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these rules.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using Star Words AI ("the Service," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you are using the Service on behalf of a business, you represent that you have the authority to bind that business to these terms.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
2. Description of Service
Star Words AI provides an AI-powered video generation platform that uses third-party AI models (including Seedance 2.0 by ByteDance, accessed via PiAPI) to generate videos from text prompts and uploaded media. The Service is provided "as is" and features may change or be discontinued at any time.
3. Accounts & Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old to use this Service.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
- You may not share your account with others or create multiple accounts to circumvent usage limits.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
4. Subscriptions & Payments
Billing
Paid plans are billed monthly on the date you subscribe. All prices are in US dollars. Payments are processed securely by Stripe.
Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Your access will continue until the end of the current billing period. We do not provide prorated refunds for mid-period cancellations except as outlined in our Refund Policy.
Price Changes
We may change subscription prices with at least 30 days' notice. Your continued use of the Service after the price change takes effect constitutes agreement to pay the new price.
Credits
Monthly video credits do not roll over to the next billing period. Unused credits expire at the end of each billing cycle.
5. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree NOT to use Star Words AI to generate content that:
- Depicts real, identifiable people without their explicit written consent, including celebrities, public figures, or private individuals.
- Is sexually explicit, pornographic, or adult in nature.
- Depicts minors in any inappropriate context.
- Promotes violence, terrorism, or harm to individuals or groups.
- Constitutes hate speech, harassment, or discrimination based on race, gender, religion, nationality, sexual orientation, or other protected characteristics.
- Infringes on the intellectual property, trademarks, or copyrights of third parties, including characters, logos, and brands (e.g., Disney, Marvel, branded products).
- Constitutes misinformation, deepfakes intended to deceive, or politically manipulative content.
- Violates any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation.
Violation of this policy may result in immediate account termination without refund and, where required by law, may be reported to relevant authorities.
6. Intellectual Property & Content Ownership
Your Content
You retain ownership of the videos you generate using Star Words AI, subject to the limitations described in these terms. By generating content, you represent that you have the right to use any reference images, audio, or other media you upload.
Commercial Use
Creator and Pro plan subscribers may use generated videos for commercial purposes. Free plan subscribers may only use videos for personal, non-commercial purposes.
Our License
By using the Service, you grant Star Words AI a limited, non-exclusive license to use your generated videos for the purpose of improving the Service, operating the platform, and (with your consent) showcasing examples of what the platform can produce.
AI Model Limitations
Videos are generated using third-party AI models. We cannot guarantee that AI-generated outputs are free from all intellectual property concerns. You are solely responsible for reviewing generated content before commercial use.
7. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that generated videos will meet your specific requirements.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Star Words AI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in Houston, Texas.

2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide the Service: Processing your video generation requests, managing your account, and billing.
- To improve the Service: Analyzing usage patterns to make the platform better. We may use anonymized prompt data to improve generation quality.
- To communicate with you: Sending service-related emails (receipts, alerts), and if you opt in, marketing emails about new features. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- For safety: Detecting and preventing abuse, fraud, or violations of our Content Policy.
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only in these limited circumstances:
- Service providers: We use PiAPI to process video generation. Your prompts and reference media are transmitted to their servers. See PiAPI's privacy policy at piapi.ai/privacy.
- Payment processing: Stripe processes all payments. See stripe.com/privacy.
- Legal requirements: We may disclose data if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of users or the public.
4. Data Retention
- Generated videos are stored for 30 days unless you save them to your library.
- Saved library videos are retained as long as your account is active.
- Account data is retained until you request deletion.
- Payment records are retained for 7 years for tax and legal compliance.
5. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:
- Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correction: Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Deletion: Request deletion of your account and associated data.
- Portability: Request your data in a portable format.
- Opt-out: Unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time.

- Social media content (with appropriate AI disclosure where required by law)
- Videos featuring people who have given you explicit written consent
🚫 Prohibited Content
The following types of content are strictly prohibited and will result in immediate account termination:
- Real people without consent: Any video depicting a real, identifiable person (celebrity, public figure, or private individual) without their explicit written consent.
- Sexual content: Explicit, pornographic, or sexually suggestive content of any kind.
- Minors: Any content depicting minors in inappropriate situations.
- Violence & harm: Graphic violence, gore, or content designed to incite violence against individuals or groups.
- Hate speech: Content that demeans, threatens, or discriminates against people based on protected characteristics.
- Intellectual property violations: Reproducing copyrighted characters, logos, or branded content without authorization (e.g., Disney characters, Marvel superheroes, sports logos).
- Misinformation: Deepfakes intended to deceive, fake news videos, or content designed to spread false information.
- Illegal activity: Content that facilitates, glorifies, or instructs on illegal activities.
AI Disclosure Requirements
Many jurisdictions now require disclosure when content is AI-generated. You are responsible for complying with applicable laws in your region, including the EU AI Act (effective August 2026) and various US state laws. When in doubt, label your content as "AI-generated."
Reporting Violations
If you encounter content that violates this policy, please report it to [email protected]. We review all reports and take appropriate action.

Refund Policy
We want you to be happy with Star Words AI. Here's our clear, fair refund policy.

Short version: New subscribers get a 7-day money-back guarantee. After that, we generally don't offer refunds for subscription fees already paid, but we always try to be reasonable. If something went wrong on our end, we'll make it right.
7-Day Money-Back Guarantee
If you subscribe to a paid plan and are not satisfied within the first 7 days, contact us at [email protected] and we will issue a full refund — no questions asked.
After 7 Days
After the initial 7-day period, subscription fees are generally non-refundable. However, we will issue a refund if:
- A technical failure on our end prevented you from using the Service for more than 48 consecutive hours.
- You were charged incorrectly due to a billing error.
- The Service materially changes in a way that significantly reduces its value to you.
Cancellations
When you cancel, your subscription continues until the end of the current billing period. You will not be charged again after cancellation. We do not provide prorated refunds for the remaining days in your billing period.
Accounts Terminated for Violations
Accounts terminated for violations of our Terms of Service or Content Policy are not eligible for refunds.
How to Request a Refund
Email [email protected] with your account email and the reason for your refund request. We respond within 2 business days. Approved refunds are processed within 5–10 business days.
